Daffodil (N. pseudonarcussus) has an interesting, flamed or striped appeararance of the corolla in UV light. Seemingly, UV absorbance is linked to epidermal structures and hence their visibility relates to the incidence angle of the illumination. Thus, the exact location of the striped areas varies between images depending on the position of the SB-140 flash unit.
