This small, pinkish-flowered Dog-Rose species, native to Scandinavia and adjacent regions of Russia, exhibits an intermediately strong bull's-eye pattern in UV light. This pattern is quite unlike that of other Rosa species, just to show how much variability there can be within a single genus.
