This xerophytic species has no visual indication of a bull's-eye pattern. However, a flower centre with low UV reflectance (stamens and stigmas) together with UV reflectance of the petals create a moderately well expressed two-zoned pollinator guide pattern. The extent of the UV-absorbing area may change throughout the floral develoment, as evident from the photo above.
