Ultraviolet Reflections

This in fact was my very first attempt of using UV colour photography for landscape scenes. Most of the time was spent in calibrating the exposure. The image was obtained using Nikon F4 with a Zeiss Ortho S-Planar 60 mm f/4 lens (a true freebie, this one; I salvaged it from a wrecked copying machine). A Nikon FF filter was used over the lens and exposures were very long, ranging from 15 to 60 seconds in bright sunshine.

UV images may also be acquired using digital techniques. For an updated review of digital UV and IR photography, click here.
